A REBIRTH/ A JOURNEY THROUGH THE GATES, STREETS AND INNS OF GRANDBAZAAR
Life can quite be imagined as a collection of journeys. We die and born several times as we end one journey and begin another. A journey that changes one, as you begin as something else and end as something else over and over again. One of these journeys do occur for the ones who accidentally or willingly enter one of the gates, stroll in the labyrinthetic streets and breathe through the inns of Grandbazaar.
This particular journey of rebirth begins as the Grandbazaar calls you with twenty one arms wide open to enter through its gates. Wellcoming everyone north, south, east and west. Hard to resist this strong wellcoming call, people rush into Grandbazaar with no hesitation, leaving themselves, letting the flow take them. Grandbazaar invites all by just saying :Come.
Once entering the place the hardest phase begins which is the walking around, strolling away in the streets of Grandbazaar. Easy to enter hard to get out, one becomes mesmerized for all the options and chances she could chose and take. Through this complicated road trip this walk turns into a hypnotic dance. A dance that would lead into an evolution, the change of self. An everlasting coreography that has no particular beginning or end.
Hypnotized while dancing one slowly comes to the realization of the evolution. When the pain becomes the most vivid for the change is a painful process, the dance starts slowly to fade. As the one’s new self completes its evolution, the time for the rebirth comes and the first breath of life is taken in for the first time at the inns. Which are the lungs of the Grandbazaar for they are the only spaces one can see and breathe the air, the voids.
This journey of entering, dancing and breathing gives birth to a new life or self with the first breath. Just like a sufi waiting for it’s time to come. Coming to this wellcoming place as anyone, suffering through the streets, performing the hypnotic dance and finally completing the spiritual journey and turning into a sufi.
